Will HenDragon Press maintain rights to my work?
The short answer is, no. HenDragon Press will not claim ownership, either permanent or temporary, of your work if chosen for the anthology. You may choose to withdraw your work from being published by HenDragon Press at anytime prior to publication and publish independently as you see fit.
How will the publication be funded & when will it be published?
Our goal is to have the anthology published in the fall of 2025. Deadlines may shift depending on a variety of factors. HenDragon Press will be responsible for the editing, design, and printing of this work. We will be setting up a crowdfunding campaign to cover the costs of all the expenses to bring this anthology to life. The authors do not need to pay any costs/fees for the creation of this work. We do ask that the authors' chosen help promote the anthology campaign and publication through whatever channels they see fit. But this is not required.
HenDragon Press has a strict AI policy and will not publish any work or designs rendered using AI technology.
How will royalties be distributed?
Royalties will be distributed evenly between the authors featured in the anthology. Once we have finalized the submissions, we will have a better idea of what that may look like. This is our first publishing endeavor as a press so we are looking at this as a learning experience rather than a way to make $$.
Where will the book be available for purchase?
The anthology will be available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major online book sellers. We are exploring other options for distribution and printing at this time, so this may change in the future.
